Peddle Thorp Group

The Peddle Thorp Group (PTA) is one of Australasia’s largest architectural practices.  It was the firm that designed Melbourne Park, venue for the Australian Open tennis tournament, one of the world’s four Grand Slams. PTA has become the world leader in aquarium design, having undertaken projects around the world for and under the direction of Peter O’Brien.

Tom Prillinger is the  Senior Associate and Head of Aquarium Division for Peddle Thorp Architects.  Peddle Thorp Architects are based in Melbourne, Australia with offices in Qatar, China and India, an international group with extensive experience in all facets of architecture including Commercial Offices, Hospitals, Sports Stadiums and major Residential developments. Their Aquarium Division has been responsible for major Aquariums in Australia, South Korea, Thailand and China for Oceanis Australia founded by Peter Obrien from Parkthorn, and most recently the Dubai Mall Aquarium and Underwater Zoo for Emaar,which has the Worlds largest Aquarium viewing Panel.  They are currently working on projects in Asia, Europe.

The Peddle Thorp Group has offices and representation in Melbourne, Doha, Delhi and Shenzhen. Peter O’Brien Projects works, as required, with and out of these offices.
